I'll keep this brief - what can you say when you lose to Zenon, let alone a 10 man Zenon!

Not sure if it was the cold north wind or a general lack of interest but it was an uneventful first half from both sides - the only real chance falling to Belch but he headed over from about 10 yards.

Second half started - this was just as bad as the first. What we needed was a little something to get us motivated. Even the first Zenon goal was not enough to do the trick as their winger nipped in between Andy and Simon on the bye-line, centered, and an unmarked orange shirt had an easy tap in from 6 yards on the hour.

Then 10 minutes later Zenon broke clear and struck the post. The rebound was blasted into the top corner from 12 yards with a fine first time effort as we failed to react.

With 5 minutes left Zenon finally put us out of our misery as a third break was tucked away inside the far post. It could have been more when a long range Zenon effort hammered against the bar and several other shots went wide.

It must be said we didn't have a single goal bound effort in the entire second half and with just the one effort in the first, it was a truly awful performance!!!
